Lady Bird Sport was born from the belief that a woman’s wardrobe should move as effortlessly as she does. Inspired by the outdoor spirit of Austin where active mornings, busy afternoons and evenings out often flow seamlessly together. Our garments are designed to carry her confidently from one part of her day to the next while keeping her polished, comfortable and put together. At the heart of that inspiration is Lady Bird Lake, named in honor of Lady Bird Johnson, whose strength, grace, and appreciation for the natural world continue to shape the purposeful, refined spirit of the brand.

Our founder
Rooted in Experience
Founded by Jen Ratan, entrepreneur, a mother of two daughters, sideline veteran (dance mom and soccer mom), and professional fitness instructor. Lady Bird Sport is rooted in both fashion expertise and firsthand experience with an active lifestyle.
Jen has spent countless hours on the sidelines watching her daughters play sports, teaching fitness classes, running marathons, and taking every type of class under the sun, including yoga, Pilates, spin, and weight training.
She also brings more than 15 years of experience creating couture and custom garments for clients across the country through our sister company, Double R Brand. Her deep understanding of thoughtful construction, beautiful fabrics, personalized fit, and the way women truly move through their days now informs every Lady Bird Sport garment.
